The Patrol has reached its sixth decade of existence.
The all-new Nissan Patrol has been launched in Australia, with deliveries expecting to commence in January 2013. It will be available exclusively with a V8 5.6-liter engine that produces 405 HP (298 kW) and a peak torque of 413 lb-ft (560 Nm). The power unit is linked to a seven-speed automatic gearbox and the ALL-MODE 4x4 system. It is able to tow up to 3500 kg (7716 pounds) and has a fuel consumption of 14.5 liters / 100 km.
As standard (ST-L model), the 2013 Nissan Patrol comes with Bluetooth hands-free phone, eight-way power assisted driver’s seat, iPod connectivity, six-speaker audio system, dual zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors with rear view camera, as well as active front headrests and front, side and curtain airbags.
The Ti trim level adds leather upholstery, Hydraulic Body Motion Control system, rain sensing wipers, auto headlights, sunroof and 4-way electric adjustment for the passenger seat. The high-end Ti-L brings HDD-based navigation system, 13-speaker BOSE sound system, memory function for driver’s seat, Around View Monitor and dual seven-inch DVD screens in the rear of the front headrests.
Prices for the 2013 Nissan Patrol start from less than AUD $85,000 for the base ST-L model, followed by the Ti at less than AUD $95,000 and the top-spec Ti-L that will be available at under AUD $115,000.
