HPA Motorsports Golf MkV R32 FT 575Cv

citação:HPA#8217;s recent debut of the FT575 MKV R32 on the West and East Coast was met with the level of enthusiasm that has become synonymous with VW owners and lovers alike. Poised to strike in Dunlop Tires' corporate display, the only twin turbo MKV R32 in North America sat ubiquitously enough amid a sea of Volkswagens when first showcased at Dubwars and Waterfest. The crowd of spectators that flocked to the unassuming silhouette was the only hint that this was more than a standard R32 #8211; this was an HPA R32 and with that name came the pressure to perform. It required a discerning ear to translate the whispers of those fortunate enough to see the artistry of turbo plumbing under the hood; but if you listened carefully enough everyone wanted to know one thing. How fast? Now, thanks to our friends at Motor Trend we can give you the independently tested answer.

Clutch in, first gear selected, instantaneous spooling of turbos translates to a tire melting 3.5 second 0-60mph launch. Four strips of rubber and the distant guttural growl of a sport tuned exhaust are the only sign that HPA#8217;s elusive FT575 R32 has ever been in one place for any length of time, because within 11.9 seconds the VW will already be a ¼ of a mile down the road and still pulling (see it for yourself on motortrend.com). Fortunately HPA#8217;s super car is fitted with massive 365mm rotors, clamped to a halt with 8 piston calipers. In other words, the ability to come to a stop from 60mph in 114 feet all day long, whether carving the back road canyons or shocking the local Porsche and Ferrari owners at the track. But, launching to warp speed and surviving isn#8217;t the only benefit of HPA#8217;s FT575; this car is the complete package.

A super car package actually. From the competition programmed Haldex controller maximizing the AWD system, to the lengthened gear set giving this R32 the legs to crest 200mph, to the world class KW suspension; HPA is now offering this exclusive thoroughbred super car to the North American enthusiast well over a year before the car is even officially released!

For those who have more patience than we do, have no fear. HPA will of course be offering turbo systems for the R32 when it does officially land on our shores. And if you are worried about the DSG, don#8217;t be. HPA already offers twin turbo systems for the A3 and TT that utilize the direct shift gearbox. Our embrace of this technology has lead to the development of a turbo solution that will allow owners to fully maximize the potential of their systems unrelenting power. The DSG will never miss a shift, you only need to pull the trigger and hold on to the bullet.

O Golf R32 de 250 cavalos fez 5.8 segundos dos 0-100kmh nas medições... Surprendente.
