Hover B3 Marks Its Debut with ABS
News from Great Wall Motor Company Limited says that a new model named “Hover B3?will be launched into China market On Dec.8th. Hover B3, installed with BOSCH 8.0 ABS and dual airbags, has two models: 2WD, 4WD.

Top grade model with ABS and airbag is not suprising but Hover CUV installed with ABS and dual air bag is a pleasant surprise to us. Do and just do it best is the concept of Great Wall Company. Thus Hover B3 adopts the best ABS in the world and is the only China domestic brand installed BOSCH 8.0 ABS which is just being installed on top grade sedans as Peupeot, Mondeo etc. and is much better than those old ones such as 4.0, 5.0, and 5.3 which are very common in China now. ABS integrated with EBD assist system can balance brake force of each wheel, thus enhance the effect of ABS highly.

It took BOSCH Company one year to have Hover B3 with ABS 8.0 proved. They did strict matching test in Germany both spring and winter.



Hover B3 dual airbag system utilizes the most advanced electronic non-smoke airbag in China. In the process of matching test, there are 12 vehicles being used to collect the data, and data calibrating was done by Germany Simens Company, which ensures
the reliability and security in unavoidable crash. In recent days, the crash test in Tianjin National Vehicle Testing Station shows that Hover B3 is 70% better than the national requirement in terms of safety.

Besides, Hover CUV has obvious advantages in the aspects of chassis and bodywork design. Off-road type chassis, separate frame construction,rigidity strong intensity echelon structure frame, independent double fork arm front suspension and Double fork arm torsion bar spring rear suspension. The sedan like stability and comfort of Hover is guaranteed with afore-mentioned structures, and much capable in dealing with rough roads.

Hover is divided into front and rear two duals with the “R2?dual zone concept. “Crash absorb zone?can absorb the energy as soon as crash happened. When the car head distorts, the front and rear part of energy absorb steering column will be compressed into one part, so that the safety of the driver is guaranteed. “High strength capsule cabin?is based on the four door anti-crash girder, floor anti-crash girder and other strut to support the floor so can protect you safe no matter which direction the crash happened.

Domestic experts said after they had a test drive of Hover: this model has excellent performance both in active and passive safety protection and has reached the top level among domestic vehicles. Hover got many honor within less than half a year since it has been launched. It is nominated as “most popular city multi-functional vehicle? “super star vehicle? and “most popular domestic multi-functional vehicle?by the websites and mass media. At present, the average increasing rate in sale volume per month is above 40% while the increasing momentum surpasses that of all SUV brands.

Hace algunos meses salieron a la luz los malos resultados en el crash-test del Landwind y nos asutábamos de lo pésimos que eran. Sin embargo nos enteramos hace poco que mejorarán la estructura del modelo antes de su comercialización en España, que será en 2007.

Pero hoy toca la otra cara de la moneda: el Great Wall Hover ha obtenido unos buenos resultados en las pruebas de ADAC (miembo de Euroncap). Su puntuación sería el equivalente a cuatro estrellas euroncap, muchísimo mejor que las primeras pruebas del Landwind, que no había conseguido ninguna. Parece que los fabricantes chinos se han puesto las pilas en este aspecto.
