A salientar q no caso do Class S o habitaculo fica sempre praticamente intacto o q na realidade a 120km/h nao sei será bem assim.

      Laguna II:112 k/h

Probably around 50km/h, but this test (flat wall, 30° angle) doesn't stress the structure as much as a 50% overlap crash.

The vehicle’s occupant compartment remained stable during the frontal offset test. Data obtained from the assessment showed there was adequate protection given to the driver’s chest and lower leg

Small cars falter in updated moderate overlap crash test

                                  https://www.iihs.org/news/detail/sma...lap-crash-test

IIHS launched the updated moderate overlap front test last year after research showed that in newer vehicles the risk of a fatal injury is now higher for belted occupants in the rear than for those in front. This is not because the rear seat has become less safe. Rather, the front seat has become safer because of improved airbags and advanced seat belts that are rarely available in back. Even with these developments, the back seat remains the safest place for young children, who can be injured by an inflating front airbag.

To encourage manufacturers to improve rear-seat protection, the updated test adds a dummy in the back seat behind the driver. The driver dummy is the size of an average adult man. The rear dummy represents a small woman or 12-year-old child. IIHS researchers also developed new metrics that focus on the injuries most frequently seen in back-seat passengers.

"After the first test Renault brought forward design changes to the knee impact area and footwell padding and so were allowed to retest the Clio. The airbags were also of a newer design but these were not designed to improve the performance at this test severity"

                                      https://www.euroncap.com/en/results/renault/clio/35877

Owing to a shortage of semiconductors caused by the Covid pandemic, the Clio "Zen" "Life" "Série LimitéeLimited", "Business’’, "Intens" and "Série Limitée Lutecia’’ versions do not have all of the safety features required for the 2019 5-star class. In particular, these vehicles are offered without radar, which is necessary to provide effective autonomous emergency braking (AEB). Clio models with a "RS Line’’ and "Initiale Paris’’ designations are not affected and the 5-star rating applies.

The Renault Clio E-TECH Hybrid is a variant of Clio. Some additional tests and checks have been done to ensure that the rating of the Clio, tested in 2019, applies to the hybrid variant.

Polestar 2 Awarded 5 Stars In US NCAP Crash Testing
                                          https://insideevs.com/news/624542/po...crash-testing/

The electric sedan scored a maximum of 5 stars in each of the three categories: Frontal Crash, Side Crash and Rollover.

The Polestar 2 has been awarded an overall vehicle safety rating of 5 stars by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the highest possible score a vehicle can achieve in the agency's New Car Assessment Program (NCAP).

Polestar says this places the Polestar 2 amongst the absolute safest vehicles on sale today and confirms the electric fastback's five-star rating awarded by the Euro NCAP in European crash testing last year.
"Building on last year's 5-Star EuroNCAP rating, we are happy to announce that Polestar 2 has also received the benchmark 5-star rating from the NHTSA in the United States. Our customers can take pride and comfort knowing that their Polestar 2 features the latest technology, great design and sustainable materials complemented by a top safety rating."

Gregor Hembrough, Head of Polestar North America

The Polestar 2 was awarded 5 stars for Frontal Crash protection, 5 stars for Side Crash protection and 5 stars for Rollover protection, achieving a perfect 5-star average score. The Frontal Crash test consists of a frontal barrier test simulating a head-on collision between two similar vehicles, each moving at 35 mph (56 km/h).

Impressive photos show off Fisker Ocean electric SUVs that have seemingly undergone extensive crash and safety testing.

Today, we received photos of Fisker Ocean electric SUVs used for crash and safety testing. The photos showcase two beaten up Fisker Oceans situated in a fenced-off site. Each Fisker Ocean, painted with a Great White exterior, features target markers. Each market is strategically positioned on various parts of the vehicle. This was to aid in analyzing and measuring crash effects. These photos are quite something to see (photo gallery below)!

The photos reveal electric SUVs that have clearly undergone crash testing, likely frontal crash tests, side barrier crash tests, side pole crash tests, and rollover resistance tests. One photo clearly captures stickers on the driver and passenger doors that reads “Vehicle Safety by Magna Steyr.” Another photo captures deployed airbags, likely from a frontal crash test, and damaged doors resulting from a side barrier crash test.

Who Carried Out the Crash & Safety Testing?

A Fiskerati reader and future Fisker Ocean One owner took these photos in Gratkorn, Austria. The crash testing facility belongs to Capgemini Engineering Austria, previously known as ALTRAN Austria. Fisker and Magna Steyr utilized this facility as one of the companies to provide passive safety testing in Austria as a member of the Euro NCAP Program. Last month, Fisker stated that it employed an internationally recognized agency to conduct the testing, without disclosing the company’s name. It seems that this company is the one that carried out the crash and safety testing!

Furthermore, at that time, Fisker expressed confidence in obtaining a five-star rating from the NHTSA if the government entity decides to put their vehicle to the test. According to Henrik Fisker, “Fisker engineered the structure of the Fisker Ocean to achieve a five-star crash rating according to the NCAP. An official five-star rating will now be possible should NHTSA select a Fisker Ocean for testing.” The ‘NHTSA’s 5-Star Safety Ratings’ program evaluates vehicle performance in crash tests. This organization uses frontal, side, and rollover tests because they are the most common in crashes on American roads.
