Apesar não concordar com essa infeliz comparação,tens razão, o Swift é muito melhor ke o C2 VTS ,não tenho qualquer duvidas quanto a isso e nem sequer é preciso ser uma versão mais apimentada.
Suzuki além de ter o melhor handling é bem construido,bons materiais e de grande fiabilidade.

O VTS tem um longo caminho a percorrer.

Na próxima segunda-feira, no Fifth Gear, o Tiff vai testar este carro.

Este carro também aparece esta semana no AutoHoje e AutoFoco. Pelo que li ficaram bem impressionados.

O AutoHoje refere: O Swift é um utilitário desportivo à moda antiga. É genuíno, e deixa ser o "piloto" a controlar as operações sem filtrar excessivamente os acontecimentos. Os 125 cv não têm um fôlego de atleta mas são suficientes para a diversão.
Como pontos positivos destacam o comportamento, preço (21 600, 21 834 na unidade ensaiada) e o equipamento. No reverso da medalha está o ruído do motor e posição de condução.

agr prende-se um grande problema.. entre o colt czt, c2 vts cup, swift sport ou yaris t-sport, qual escolher? qual tem mhor performance? qual é que ganha na relaçao entre tds os aspectos? no geral?

tarefa complicada pa kem anda a ver estes pekenos mas grandes desportivos.

We were blasting down a bumpy single-lane tarmac track in Sussex, making this heaving, treacherous road our bitch. No matter how hard I tried, the car refused to do anything silly.

In the end, I spotted what looked like a significant Hump approaching. We hit it at middling revs in third gear, fast enough to send the front wheels off the ground. The Swift just landed and carried on. It didn't bottom out, didn't protest, it just shrugged and said 'give me more, fool'.

Suzuki engineers in Germany have honed the multi-award-winning Swift for European drivers and this new Sport is the most impressive result of that strategy to date.

It's a great little hot hatch - meaty steering, chunky, short-throw gearshift, and a stiffened chassis that doesn't want to understeer. The 123bhp 1.6-litre engine revs cleanly and gives the car just enough pace.

Good looking on its 17in wheels and distinctive inside, with its body hugging pseudo-race seats, the Swift sport will give cars like the Ford Fiesta Zetec S and Citroen C2 VTS a very hard time. At £11,500 it's good value too.

In fact, you'd better be quick to test drive one - Suzuki won't be able to import enough of these cars to meet demand.

Whats it like?
Very nice, as it happens. The regular Swift s a decent car: well built, looks good on the outside, is interesting and attractive inside. This Sport version just improves it for the keener driver. There s a sweet gearbox (though 4th to 5th balks), good throttle response and a very progressive clutch, so the drivetrain is peachily smooth. And although it s not fast, the Sport is reasonably brisk. The engine makes a decent noise at higher revs, too. All the more shame, then, that the pedals are hopelessly spaced for easy heel-and-toe downshifts.

At pace, the steering is fairly weighty, with strong self-centring and slightly dull reactions, which is a pity given the rest of the controls are so positive.
The Sport gets Monroe dampers and uprated springs and bushings. They tighten body control but, because the ride s still respectable, there are more body movements than the keenest drivers will want. Still, the Swift Sport is agile and grips well.
An ESP system has also been developed specifically for this derivative that allows a decent amount of slip angle before gently interfering.

Should I buy one?
If you are thinking of buying a Citroën C2 VTR then yes, you should. This is better in just about every way. It s also faster and cheaper than a Mini Cooper, though cant match that car s tactile appeal. And while it s not the keenest drive, in terms of affordable small semi-sporting hatches, it s the best there is.
