Today we bring the first spy photo with the Lamborghini Gallardo successor which is likely to get the Cabrera moniker.
YouTube user Shmee150 posted the pic on his official Facebook account and despite all the camouflage we notice right away there's a Lamborghini hiding underneath the mask. From what we can see, expect big angular headlights, massive front/side air vents and a steeply raked windscreen.
Powering the Lamborghini Cabrera will be an evolution of the firm's V10 5.2-liter naturally-aspirated mill which should output somewhere in the region of 600 bhp (447 kW) and 541 Nm (400 lb-ft). It's rumored to have a curb weight of less than 1,500 kg (3,306 lbs) and will share many of its components with the second-gen Audi R8. Four-wheel drive will be standard but special editions are going to receive a RWD layout.
A preview concept will allegedly be unveiled in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, followed in 2014 by the production variant.
