É compreensivel que os Portugueses fiquem estranhos com a enorme cooperatividade que a marca ISUZU (recentemente lançada em Portugal) teve e nunca tal imaginaram, conhecendo-a alguns como uma fornecedora de motores Diesel..., mas nada mais Errado!
Apesar de alguma pouca expressão que a marca ainda sente em Portugal, esta mesma é reconhecidissima pelos enormes projectos lançados.
A mais importante seguida da GM (General Motors) prende-se a SUBARU, onde foi projectado com o leque SIA em 1986.
Ainda hoje a parceria se mantem e de momento apenas a Subaru beneficia da mesma com os seguintes produtos:

- Subaru Outback (Sedan and Wagon)
- Subaru Baja
- Subaru Baja Sport
