Noble M600 V8 650 Cv 360 km/h Revelado [c/video]

Last month, shooters caught the new Noble M600 undergoing testing at the Firebird Raceway in Arizona. According to reports, the M600 was joined on the track by Noble's benchmark vehicle, a Porsche Carrera GT. The crew at RacersWeb.com found themselves at the same track at the same time as the M600, and unlike the previous pics shot from the grandstands, these newest images get us up close and personal with Noble's new 600+ hp, twin-turbo'd V8 supercar.

The exterior hasn't changed much since we brought you the first round of "official" and unofficial shots earlier this year, but the front bumpers vents and ducting are in clear view, as is a new Noble badge that drops the oblong yellow logo for a simple crown design. The engine bay reveals the M600's Volvo-sourced powerplant, but all the interesting tidbits are hidden deep inside. Compared to past models, Noble spent some serious coin on making the interior a nice place to toil away the hours around town and on the track, with acres of Alcantara, contrast stitching and beautifully crafted knobs, stalks and switchgear.

We're hoping to see the Noble M600 officially revealed early next year, but in the meantime, get an eyeful in the gallery below.

ainda para mais agora com a crise que "la" vai!!

eu sempre gostei da Noble... e agrada me bastante ver que esta a entrar no patamar dos hiper cars... pois os modelos anteriores eram mais para competir com super cars... este em especial esta muito bonito, e tem um interior bem porreiraço... e com mais de 600cv... ai ai... aquele carrera GT nao deve conseguir fugir dele...

EDIT: Alguem sabe que motor usa agora o NOBLE??? e que se bem me lembro o primeiro usava um V6 do Ford Mondeo ST + 2 Turbos... nao era??

Os Noble M400 sempre tiveram v6 Ford.
Apesar de já não serem vendidos pela Noble, os M400 encontraram nova vida através de um produtor americano, que os produz e os comercializa por lá.

Não sei até que ponto o negócio ainda se mantém.

Este M600 custa a sair
Já existem protótipos em testes aos anos, com o maior problema a ser falta de dinheiro para o desenvolvimento da máquina.

O mais certo é o Carrera GT dessas imagens ser o do p´roprio Mr.Noble.

Ele adora o carro, comprou um e é o modelo-referencia usado para o desenvolvimento do M600

Spyshots II: Noble M600 Undisguised

Noble has always been one of the finest British Sportscars brands but with their new M600, they are going to enter the exclusive club of supercar makers. What else can you call this angry looking beast which packs 650 hp?! It was first spotted in the U.S. and now in the U.K and that should mean the work is almost done and it’ll hit the market in early 2010.

The looks of Noble M600 is fresh and new, but still you can notice footsteps of the previous models, M15 and M400 everywhere. This low and wide appearance is part of Noble’s character and it’s good they have maintained it in the new model.

It is still being built in a shed and still uses a Volvo engine and almost certainly still has dials and switches from other cars, but the way they put this bits together makes an extraordinary car! Specially this time with this huge power of 650 hp coming from a twin turbocharged 4.0 liter V8, it’s gonna be the supercar of choice for those with exquisite taste.

Aparentemente apenas vai ser vendido no UK. Não está pra já prevista a sua exportação.

Mais chocante é o preço anunciado... 200 000£!!!

E curioso é o pormenor de termos um manipulozinho que controla o número de equideos do V8 4.4 de origem Volvo/Yamaha.

First Photo of the Noble M600 Roadster

Noble Automotive has revealed a factory design study for an M600 Convertible model.

The M600 is a hand-built British supercar that uses racecar construction techniques and a Yamaha-derived 650 bhp, 4.4 liter twin-turbocharged V-8 to offer searing on-road performance – think 0-100 mph in 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 225 mph. The M600 recently became a global TV star on Top Gear’s triple-supercar shoot-out when it held its own against the McLaren MP4 12C and the Lamborghini Aventador – not bad from a bespoke company that has only ever claimed it wants to hand-build 50 cars a year.


The M600’s stated raison d’etre is to provide pure driving thrills that offer a different kind of reward from the ‘average’ modern day supercar. It eschews the modern trend for complicated chassis control systems and fool-proof paddle-shift gearboxes, offering only traction control and a traditional six-speed stick-shift so a driver who wants to extract 10/10ths performance will be rewarded for his own skill and experience. Noble Automotive calls the experience ‘analogue’ versus ‘digital’.


The car is currently only available in coupe form costing £195,000 plus taxes, but while the company denies there’s any current plan to actually build a convertible or roadster version, the boss Peter Boutwood does reveal that they’ve looked at the project on a “what if” basis – hence this official design image reproduced here.


Theoretically it shouldn’t be too hard to engineer a roadster version of the M600 without losing any of its hard-won performance credentials, as it’s built around a rigid aluminium and stainless steel tub and the carbon fibre body is not a stressed element.


The question is, in a market that’s already considered niche, would a roadster model attract the driving purists that the Noble appeals to, and if not, would the M600’s lack of perceived heritage put-off buyers from more obvious exotic choices like the forthcoming McLaren 12C convertible and the Ferrari 458?
