Rodas de 18 a parecerem pequenas para um carro de nome... Mini Não deixa de ter uma pitada de ironia.
Vemos construtores a esforçar-se ao ponto de já conseguirem concorrer, sem vergonha nenhuma, com os melhores preparadores "after-market" no que toca a estilo.

No caso do Countryman, apesar de todo o aparato que acompanhará sempre este e outros Mini, deveriam repensar os arcos das rodas, nomeadamente os plásticos que os delimitam. Precisa de perder volume, assim como os grupos ópticos.

O Countryman JCW pode ser considerado uma heresia para os fãs da marca, no entanto, o sucesso comercial do crossover justifica a sua lógica comercial.

Com 218 cv, o carro é rápido, mas o tacto da direcção e da suspensão não são suficientemente bons para nos apaixonarmos.

Para quem pretende um carro rápido e apto para o dia-a-dia, este Countryman JCW pode ser uma opção a considerar. Porém, quem procura um carro divertido de conduzir, este não é uma boa opção.

BMW atualiza o MINI Countryman, agora mais prático

Los chicos de MINI han decidido actualizar su Countryman para hacerlo más interesante, práctico y versátil en el día a día. La nueva gama 2013 acaba de ser presentada y aunque no recibe cambios estéticos, sí tiene mejoras que afectan a las mecánicas.

Las nuevas unidades presumen ahora de una instrumentación más legible, si bien se mantiene en posición central. Como en el Paceman, los mandos de los elevalunas se van al apoyabrazos, siendo mucho más cómodos en su accionamiento que en los anteriores. Aquí también están los mandos del cierre centralizado y el que controla los espejos eléctricos.

Una importante novedad es que la banqueta posterior ahora es corrida y llega homologado para cinco ocupantes. Si se desea, bajo pedido podrá adquirirse con la configuración 2+2, con asientos independientes. Por otro lado la oferta de colores estrena dos nuevos tonos "Blazing Red" y "Brilliant Cooper".

Bajo el capó la única novedad reside en que los One de 98 CV y Cooper de 122 CV ahora superan la normativa anticontaminación VI que entrará en vigor en 2014. El resto de motores por ahora seguirán siendo Euro V.

MINI and John Cooper Works have launched this special-edition model to celebrate their triumph in the Dakar Rally 2013, the French duo of Stéphane Peterhansel and Jean-Paul Cottret piloting their MINI ALL4 Racing to overall victory in the world’s toughest rally event for the second year in a row. The MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 Dakar Winner 2013 is a limited-edition tribute to its rally inspiration – 11 examples of the car will be built, reflecting Peterhansel’s 11 Dakar wins. Exclusive design and equipment features showcase both the thrill of title-winning race performance and the euphoria surrounding this latest Dakar victory with authentic élan.

The new special edition is based on the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman, the brand’s first model to combine race-bred powertrain and chassis technology with the all-wheel-drive system that has just proved its mettle once again in rally action. ALL4 serves up optimum traction and directional stability in all weather and under-wheel conditions, not to mention providing a noticeable increase in agility through dynamically taken corners. And it wasn’t only in the MINI ALL4 Racing that this variable distribution of power between the front and rear axle maintained irresistible forward-surging momentum in the Dakar Rally 2013: ALL4 also enabled the MINI Countryman support vehicle for the successful Monster Energy X-raid Team to carve an entertaining yet reliable passage through the 14 stages from the Peruvian capital Lima to Santiago de Chile.

The all-wheel-drive system channels the power from the 160 kW/218 hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine under the bonnet of the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 Dakar Winner 2013 to all four wheels, as required, in any particular driving situation. Inspired by the eye-catching exterior colour of the Dakar-taming MINI ALL4 Racing, this matt black special edition comes with special bright green design features for the exterior and interior. These include Sport Stripes, which bear both the Dakar Rally winner’s logo and the signature of victorious driver Peterhansel on the bonnet. Elsewhere, the green stripes along the car’s flanks feature “MINI ALL4 Racing” lettering, while the driver and front passenger doors display the car number 302 and the names of the victorious pairing. The Dakar winner’s logo can also be seen alongside the John Cooper Works badge at the rear of the car. Inside, the green contrast stitching for the gearshift lever gaiter and floor mats, and the green embroidered winner’s logo on the head restraints, are complemented by green stripes for the black interior trim strip on the centre console. Added to which, a special-edition logo – complete with serial number – on the interior trim strip above the glove compartment, a John Cooper Works sports steering wheel and Gravity Black leather sports seats also feed into the cockpit’s evocative sports car ambience. Auxiliary spotlights, bespoke side indicator surrounds and 19-inch light-alloy wheels in Cross-Spoke Crusher design add the finishing touches to the exclusive armoury of the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 Dakar Winner 2013.
Stéphane Peterhansel’s second Dakar Rally victory in the MINI ALL4 Racing was also the 11th of his career in the legendary event. To mark this achievement, the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 Dakar Winner 2013 will be produced in a limited run of 11 units and sold exclusively in Peterhansel’s home country of France.

Troquei recentemente um MiTo 1.6 M.jet 120cv por um MINI countryman 1.6 otto 98 cv., claro que há uma boa diferença em termos de rendimento por razões mais do que obvias mas tb não tinha cacau para um cooper ou melhor, um cooper S e embora ache que o motor até nem anda mal, tem boa resposta em cidade e em vias interurbanas e até se aguenta QB em AE, alguém por aqui sabe ou já fez uma repro que seja fiável, com pvp simpático e que lhe dê mais uns pozinhos de forma a ganhar + uns 10/15 cv. sem comprometer a mecânica ?

Facelift do Countryman para o Salão de Nova Iorque?

A new report indicates BMW's MINI division is putting the final touches on a facelifted version of the Countryman. The updated crossover will greet the public for the first time at the New York Motor Show that will open its doors later this month.

The refreshed Countryman will reportedly feature a mildly updated front fascia with redesigned headlights, a new grille and a revamped bumper. The rear end of the crossover is expected to stay roughly the same, while additional alloy wheel designs and new paint colors will round out the updates.

The interior will likely undergo several small upgrades in order to differentiate the facelifted model from the one currently found on dealer lots. Rumors indicate the Countryman might follow the third-gen MINI hatchback's lead and swap its center-mounted speedometer for a small unit more conventionally located behind the steering wheel.

MINI is not planning on making any mechanical modifications, meaning the Countryman will carry on with a 121-horsepower 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine and a turbocharged version of the mill that makes 181 horsepower. The top of the lineup will continue to be occupied by the 208-horsepower John Cooper Works model.

Official details about the facelifted 2015 MINI Countryman will emerge in the weeks leading up to its debut in New York. Whether the Paceman, the Countryman's two-door sibling, will undergo the same updates is not known.

What's Next?
The current Countryman will be replaced by a brand new model in 2016. It will share its UKL platform and its downsized three-cylinder engines with numerous current and upcoming members of the BMW family including the aforementioned third-gen MINI hatchback, the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer and the next-gen BMW X1.


Information about the next Countryman is scarce, it will reportedly morph into a more rugged SUV with real off-road chops.

MINI Countryman facelift:

A revised version of the Mini Countryman has been revealed, complete with a subtle new look and improved fuel economy.All-wheel-drive versions are the biggest beneficiaries of the styling changes, with flared side sills and revised front and rear bumpers hinting at the car’s more rugged nature. A more prominent hexagonal grille also lends extra presence to the new model.

The Cooper S model gets a small increase in power, from 182bhp to 188bhp, while CO2 emissions are down and economy is improved across the range, with all engines now meeting the latest Euro 6 emissions standards. Elsewhere, new paint choices are also available, alongside new alloy wheel designs and LED fog lights.

The new Countryman range is set to reach the UK this summer after its debut at this week’s New York motor show. The Paceman is also expected to get the same changes.

Mini says the Countryman is "an important pillar of growth" for the brand, with global sales of more than 350,000 units.

Não concordo nada contigo, os interiores têm uma qualidade razoável, mesmo nas versões base, no caso do meu considero a atenção aos pormenores muito boa e a montagem também, mas é um cooper D full extras e já é de 2007.

Já conduzi um countryman de 2010 e achei ao mesmo nível.

Os motores que colocas são do R56, não do caso do countryman e não é defeito mas feitio! Nenhum problema foi relatado relativo aos ruidos!

Já conduzi um countryman de 2010 e achei ao mesmo nível.

Os motores que colocas são do R56, não do caso do countryman e não é defeito mas feitio! Nenhum problema foi relatado relativo aos ruidos!

Gostaria muito estar de acordo mas pela minha experiencia falo, no meu caso trata-se do ONE 1.6 otto de 2012.

Tenho tantos grilos um pouco por todo o lado no interior que nem me chateio em tentar resolver, meto o radio alto o suficiente para os abafar.

Os ruidos que tenho no motor e que apareceram por volta dos 10.000 k são exatamente os mesmos que os apresentados nos vídeos, o que quer dizer que apesar das evoluções do problemático motor PRINCE ao longo destes anos todos, inacreditavelmente continuam com defeitos reincidentes e basta ir aos blogs MINI internacionais para constatar isto mesmo.

Ao que percebi, um dos ruidos, como se houvesse qualquer coisa metálica la dentro aos resaltos, será característico e acontece com o motor a frio após estabilização do ralenti durante cerca de 5 min. seguintes até aquecer.

O outro vem da bomba de agua ou da polie da mesma e neste caso ainda não percebi se pode dar barraca ou é só o irritante chiar.

Que haja defeitos acontece, agora, não serem resolvidos com o tempo é que não se percebe

Conclusão, isto tudo dá uma perceção de qualidade geral fraca

Tenho pena pq por outro lado tem uma condução muito interessante para alem da boa relação praticidade/dimensões ext. e um visual cheio de personalidade.

desde a distribuição, ás bombas de água que chiam, passando pelo problema dos tensores.

O chiar da bomba de agua característico das 1as series e que se manifesta sempre ao desligar o motor e por vezes ao ralenti com motor a quente será só feitio ou mais do que isso, uma futura avaria

No meu caso, chiou ao ralenti a quente entre os 15.000 e 20.000 aprox mas depois só ao desligar.
