Ups, desculpa lá mas esse não é um V8 é um DB9! Deves ter-te enganado na foto, até porque essas são aas mesmas jantes do de cima.
 
Parece que a Prodrive vai bem lançada!! A ver vamos o final desta história, espero que seja um final feliz, lol!!

Já agora gostava, estou sempre a insistir nisto, lol, que o Sr. Ulrich Bez pudesse continuar o seu bom trabalho e que a Prodrive tenha capacidade (leia-se Euros, porque capacidade tem de serteza!) para permitir o continuar do crescendo da Aston Martin!!

A produção desta delicia deveria começar no primeiro quarto deste ano, por isso se não começou está para se iniciar...

Já agora este Aston é o N24, baseado no V8 Vantage com que a Aston participou em várias corridas, nomeadamente nas 24H de Nürburgring (daí o N24) em que o V8 Vantage quase de produção, apenas as estritamente necessárias mudanças exigidas para competição) ficou em 24.º em 220, obteve também muito bons resultados noutras corridas de endurance, provando mais uma vez, a boa base que é o V8 Vantage.

Este será a versão cliente também preparada para a pista, mas road legal, é possível andar com ele nas estradas, mas talvez seja um pouco radical para isso, lol!!

As mais importantes modificações:

  • Engine modified to enhance throttle response and performance; including lightning and balancing of the crankshaft, conrods and pistons​
  • Cylinder heads re-profiled to optimise compression ratio and gas flow​
  • Engine management system calibrated for race use.​
  • Free flow exhaust system and improved air filters​
  • Power output of 410bhp (305KW) at 7500rpm​
  • 6-speed manual transmission with Valeo twin plate cerametalic racing clutch and lightweight flywheel​
  • Facia moulding re-trimmed in Alcantara. ​
  • Console and door casings replaced by lightweight mouldings​
  • Full high strength steel roll cage​
  • Recaro Pole Position competition shell drivers seat​
  • Passenger seat with safety harness is an optional extra​
  • A suede-trimmed steering wheel with a quick release mechanism​
  • Schroth six-point safety harness with a push button release.​
  • Lifeline Zero 360 gas extinguisher system.​
  • Underframe and body discreetly modified to save weight​
  • Tapping plates to accommodate the use of pneumatic jacks​
  • Motor sport towing eyes attached to the chassis. ​
  • Side and rear windows in clear polycarbonate - sliding opening on the driver's side​
  • Quick release bonnet and tail latches​

A Prodrive comprou a Aston Martin, apenas ainda não foi anunciado, tal deverá acontecer mais tarde ainda hoje!!

Ao que parece a Ford estava mais interessada em vender a Aston Martin a um construtor automóvel, a alguém dentro do mundo automóvel, daí a preferência pela Prodrive e também a boa e muito próxima relação entre a Aston Martin e a Prodrive.

Agora só falta acertaar os últimos promenores do contrato e basicamente assinar o dito!!
