Aston Martin One-77...

Aston Martin has released the first image of its newest flagship – the limited edition One-77. Details are scarce, but the One-77 will be powered by a hand-built 7.0-liter V12 nestled inside an aluminum and carbon fiber chassis. 0-60 times are estimated at 3.5-seconds, with a top speed cresting 200 mph.

77 examples of the £1 million coupe will be produced and customers will be able to customize the bespoke supercar to meet their individual tastes. The One-77 will be revealed later this year (Paris?) and will go on sale shortly afterwards.

This will be the first all-new vehicle from Aston Martin produced after the brand was sold by Ford to a group of investors spearheaded by Prodrive's David Richards. We're also curious to know if the One-77 will play a part in Project Alligator, the rumored collaboration between Aston and Mercedes-Benz. All details will be revealed in due time. Until then let your eyes feast on the only image we have of the upcoming One-77 supercar.

What's the purpose of Aston Martin One-77?

DR: It's a very special car for customers who aren't interested in a conventional car purchase, who want to take the bespoke experience to a higher level. Every car will be entirely individual.

Where did the idea of revealing the One-77 via newspaper ads come from?

DR: Like most aspects of the project, it was driven by [Aston CEO] Ulrich Bez. It's a great way of raising awareness - though of course we already have a pretty good line on the 500 or so individuals who'll be interested in a car like this.


Will you use a carbon chassis for other Aston Martin models?

DR: It definitely shows a direction we think is interesting. Our experience in building the new car will give us more information about that.

Is the Aston Martin One-77 a technology demonstrator in other ways?

DR: Definitely. It's light, with a target weight around 1500kg, and it aerodynamics are pretty special too. It's going to be extremely quick, but it'll also be very efficient.

Has anyone bought a One-77 yet?

DR: I can't say just yet.

Fruto da parceria entre a Aston Martin e a Jaeger LeCoultre o novo relógio AMVOX2 DBS Transponder, apresentação agendada para o Paris Motor Show, faz a ponte perfeita entre um relógio e um carro, juntando uma pitada de James Bond e "Q" no dia-a-dia de proprietário de um DBS.

Este cronógrafo para além de todas as suas funções normais pode abrir e fechar um AM DBS, o seu e apenas o seu uma vez que os dealers AM estão autorizados a "sincronizar" o relógio com um DBS específico a fim de manter a segurança.

Assim para abrir basta tocar no rel´´ogio entre as 8H e a 9 H e para fechar entre as 3H e as 4H.
