Explorer a 100%

Andei a ler umas coisas, e há pessoal a queixar-se do mesmo devido a ficheiros AVI corrumpidos.
Partindo do principio que usas XP, tenta isto:

This will prevent Explorer from loading shmedia.dll in response to file property queries on these files. This will not effect your ability to play files, get file attributes, or even view thumbnails. Say goodbye to all explorer.exe 100% CPU issues.

And Solution #2 (basically does the same thing, except you are inactivating the file attributes option)...But it WORKS--No more locked .avi files:"

Se tiveres wallpapers marados com animações em flash ou coisa parecida, acaba com isso. O mesmo para os screensavers.

Considero que tem umas specs razoáveis:
520 de RAM
80Gs de disco.
2,66GHz de processador!

rum, obrigado pela dica, mas também já andei a pesquisar e tentei isso também.
Continua na mesma.
Estou a fazer a desfragmentação, mas não estou muito confiante.:(
 
é pá.... 99% não é bem o mesmo que 100%... 1% é 1%. olha quem me dera que me saí-se amanha 1% do euro milhoes eheheehhe

realmente é muito estranho....tenha ir ao gestor de dispositivos e vai desligando um a um para ver o que acontece. pode ser alguma incompatibilidade com algum hardware. ou então format nisso.

Quando colocas o cd de instalação do XP tens duas hipoteses: instalar por cima do XP ou fazer um repair da instalação que tens actualmente (se nao me engano tens que saber a password e administrator da tua maquina para que funcione)

Experimenta desligar o Norton para ver se o explorer baixa a percentagem de utilização.

Outra coisa que podes tentar é ir ao cd de instalação e fazer uma cópia do ficheiro explorer.exe para o local onde este se encontra (nao apagues o que tens agora, podes renomeá-lo, caso haja problemas voltas a colocá-lo)

Para alterares a prioridade de um processo, no Task Manager escolhes o processo em causa e com o botão do lado direito do rato clicas em cima dele e escolhes o Set Priority.

E desliga lá o Norton...
 
Humm... nesse mesmo link o gajo que tem o problema apercebe-se que tem um virus no pc...

Humm.. tens 2 hipoteses... ou passas outro antivirus ou tentas copiar o explorer.exe de outro pc que tenha XP e que esteja a funcionar... mas mesmo que optes pela segunda hipotese, passa sempre um antivirus pelo teu pc...

Vou cuscar o que faz esse virus..



Edit: pelo que dizem o Norton não o detecta..
 
Pelo que leio, o explorer.exe que tens no teu pc não é o ficheiro de sistema, mas sim um trojan... ;) (daí a ideia de o copiares de outro pc para o teu..)


Tambem li que se matares esse processo no task manager e depois o voltares a activar (atraves do comando run, por exemplo) te poderá resolver (temporariamente) o problema de estar sempre a 100% porque parece que volta a lançar o explorer.exe normal.

É que não tenho acesso a nenhum pc...:(
