Talvez este novo Ferrari 849 Testarossa não ambicione tanto, mas não deixa de ter uns «sapatos» difíceis de preencher. Ferrari 849 Testarossa Spider Review: Does the Legend Still Deliver?

Vicki Butler-Henderson gets behind the wheel to review the new Ferrari 849 Testarossa Spider on one of its very first drives, discovering whether it lives up to the legendary Testarossa name.

The Testarossa name carries decades of history, from 1950s Ferrari race cars to a starring role in The Wolf of Wall Street and its defining presence in 1980s Miami Vice.

Vicki takes the all-new 849 Testarossa Spider to Tenerife to find out whether the driving experience lives up to that reputation. With a V8 twin-turbo plug-in hybrid producing over 1,036hp and 842Nm of torque, the numbers speak for themselves: 0-62mph in 2.3 seconds, a top speed of 205mph and a Fiorano lap time quicker than the SF90 Stradale it replaces. Vicki describes the experience as intimate as a sports car with the savagery of a supercar, while giving an honest take on styling that does not quite match the visual drama of the Pininfarina-penned original.
