Volkswagen is celebrating the Golf GTi's 30th birthday in the best possible way - with a 30bhp power boost in a limited-edition model.
The Golf GTi Edition 30 will pack 227bhp and is identifiable by the mean-looking black-painted 18in alloys.
There's a full leather interior and some anniversary floor mats inside.
VW says the Golf GTi Edition 30 is a 'concept' at present, but a VW insider tell us it will reach the UK later in the year and around 400 cars will be allocated to British buyers.
