Boas,


Alguém me sabe dizer qual é o modelo deste Mercedes G? Deve ser de que ano?

Alguém me pode fazer uma pequena caracterização do bixo? :)

Só sei que é um 5 cilindros 3000cc com 126cv.

The original W460/W461 G-Wagen went onsale for the 1979 model year. It was offered in two wheelbases and three body styles: A 2-door short-wheelbase convertible, a 2-door short-wheelbase wagon, and a long-wheelbase 4-door wagon.
This version of the G-Wagen was popular with military and offroad enthusiasts, with more than 50,000 built in the first decade. The vehicle was not offered in the United States officially, but with the demise of the "casual importation" grey-market in the mid-1980s, importers were successful in selling some G-Wagens (mostly W463s) that had been modified to meet US DOT specifications for around $135,000.

4-door SUV Platform Mercedes-Benz W461 The main technical difference between the W460/461 and W463 model, apart from the choice of engines and gearboxes, is the layout of the drive train. Whilst the W463 offers full-time 4WD, the W460/461 is basically rear wheel drive with manually selectable 4WD. This means that these models do not have a centre differential, thus no centre diff-lock. Only front and rear locking differentials are needed to obtain a fully locked drive train. The front lockers were not fitted as standard, but as a factory-fitted option. The difflocks are manually operated using hydraulic levers next to the transfer case selector handle. Other differences between W460/461 and W463 models are, counting out things like a slightly stiffer suspension, mainly cosmetic. The W460/461 can be easily recognized by its grille and headlight covers which differ slightly from the W463 are always black (on a factory standard car that is), even if the rest of the bodywork is not. From behind, the biggest differences are the fuel cap, which is not covered on the W460/461, and the arrangement of the taillights. The last and most notable difference can be found inside the car. The W463 is very luxurious (wood/leather/electrics etc.) but the simpler model is quite basic, with a dash and trim that closely resembles the original vehicles from the late 70's. Apart from the choice of rugged materials, some luxuries like air conditioning (rare), automatic transmission, power steering, central locking and electric windows were available for the W460/461.

É um carro de guerra ,do melhor que já se fez na industria automovel todo terreno ... É um modelo adoptado por dezenas de Paises para a sua frota de veiculos militares ... até o Papa anda num mercedes G ...

Como diz o Jeremy Clarkson ... It may be The Best Car in The world ... e eu concordo.

5 cilindros 3000c com 126cv. Nessa página o 3000c tem só 88cv.


Outra coisa, aquela foto do de 2 portas não é a versão longa pois não? A única diferença é na carroçaria?

Reparei também que este W460 não tem tracção integral permanente. Tem de ser ligada quando se quer isso não é?
 
Ele é Rwd ... se quiseres é que ligas a tracção ás 4 ... nao tem diferencial central mas possui autoblocantes frente e trás ... o modelo a seguir é que já tem os 3 bloqueios.
 
O motor de 3 litros com 126cv a gasóleo não é original no W460, pode ser uma conversão muito comum nestes modelos (turbo aplicado).

O modelo da foto não é muito comum, um chassis longo com apenas 3 portas... Suspeito de uma versão comercial.

A suspensão está bem elevada e não é muito abonatória para as transmissões dos W460-3, se bem que o chassis longo permite mais "invenções" neste campo que o chassis curto.

Há os SUV´s, e depois temos as grandes máquinas, o G, o defender, etc...

Nem toda a gente gosta do seu aspeto, digamos retro, eu adoro.

Vais ouvir certamente muitas bocas, de que foste comprar um jipe da mercedes tão ' quadrado e antigo', com outros tão mais bonitos e tal, não ligues.

Adoro o G...se saísse o Euromilhões, vinha direitinho um G 55 AMG...fosse para usar em TT ou só em estrada

Não é para fazer TT mas é para andar em trilhos de terra para ir a locais que não têm, estradas em condições.

o que eu queria dizer é que é um carro que gasta muito por ser grande, anda pouco por ser pensado e vira mal por ser alto [;)]

partir logo para o ataque quando os outros te dao uma opiniao nao é agradavel
