Pois é ontem finalmente o Volvo Clube Portugal conseguiu juntar grande parte dos seus membros para o 1º Encontro do Clube. Este teve lugar na area de Albergaria e da Mealhada.

Gosto das jantes da V70 
só não gosto dos frisos cromados... já no restyling do S80 não gostei.
2005 features according to the newsletter:
*bumper will be entirely in same color as the body
the strip on the front corner will be replaceble to differentiate between different levels of exclusivity.
* the 'softnose' and grille are newly designed. The grille is placed lower and will be a more dominant exterior feature.
* the bumper will exist out of two sections, the lower line will be extrapolated into the air vent. The air vent has grown in size, is sportier (they mean darker) and is separated into two parts by a black horizontal line. The lower part of the bumper can be in either black plastic or in the color of the body, depending on the level of luxury chosen.
* the headlights are fitted with the socalled 'clear glassdesign' and 'black bezel'. The front fog-lights are smaller in size and are on division line with the lower section of the bumper.
* the 'old' headlight wipers are replaced by a high-pressure cleaning system which will be integrated into the front bumper.
*in the rear, the bumper will be, analogous to the front, separated into two parts with replaceble strips on the corners and clear glass design lights.
the dashboard will be altered in the way shown above. the new audio system which is the same as in the new v70 and s80 is the HU-850. Including a six cd-changer. (replacer of the HU-803)
no penholder will be in the new interior (sorry for you), except when you choose no inlays. in that case the penholder will still be there.
the new standard color will be mangite (lighter and more shiny color)
the top of the dashboard is fitted with a new material which will minimize reflections. this is the same material found in the xc90.
the arm rest and console has been improved with a 'rolling cover' fitted with the inlay which is chosen. (when no inlay is chosen, the cover will be in charcoal)
nidingen interior will be replaced by socalled 'nordborg'
a new soft-leather interior will be called 'souvereign hide'
the s60R can be ordered with a new interior color : Off Black
the new T5 engine passes EURO IV norms and is quicker and more fuel efficient. standard on the T5 will be a 6-speed manual.
2.5T won't be available anymore in MY'05
spaceball will be available in black mesh too
fourC will be available (2 settings)
HU 403 -> HU 450 radio/cassette
HU 603 -> HU 650 radio/CD (no cassette anymore)
HU 803 -> HU 850 radio/CD changer (6cdchanger in stead of 4)

The T5 engine available in the S60 and V70 is significantly upgraded with dual variable valve timing on both inlet and exhaust sides as well as a larger capacity turbocharger. The engine also increases in size from 2.3 to 2.4-litres and tuned to give sportier throttle characteristics and engine response with better low-end torque and improved emissions without increasing fuel consumption figures.
Headline power has increased from 250bhp to 260bhp with torque of 350Nm instead of 330Nm, but more significantly, revised tuning now delivers this power at lower engine speeds. For example, from just 1,800rpm torque has increased by 65Nm to 280Nm, with peak torque of 350Nm from 2,100rpm (instead of 2,400rpm previously).
Performance for the S60 T5 improves with 0-62mph times reducing from 6.8 to 6.5 seconds, while emissions reduce slightly to 220g/km. Front disc brakes and callipers have increased in size to also improve braking performance, with a new, six-speed manual gearbox with a revised aluminium ‘Space Ball’ gear lever now available in the V70 as well as the S60, or Volvo's Geartronic transmission.
