Porsche Panamera (2009)

Facelifted Porsche Panamera diesel revealed | Autocar

This is the facelifted Porsche Panamera diesel, which will be seen for the first time at the Frankfurt motor show later this month. The most significant news is the adoption of a more powerful version of the Audi-sourced 3.0-litre V6 common rail diesel engine. It develops an added 49bhp, lifting the Panamera diesel’s reserves to 296bhp at 4000rpm. Torque is also up, swelling by 74lb from an earlier 405lb ft to 479lb ft on relatively narrow band of revs between 1750 and 2500rpm.

The lift in power and torque is combined with revisions to the rear-wheel drive Panamera diesel’s ZF sourced eight-speed automatic gearbox and the addition of Porsche’s torque vectoring system, which acts as an electronic differential lock for added traction, as standard equipment.

Porsche's changes to the driveline help bring about a 0.8sec reduction in the 0-62mph time, at 6.0sec, while top speed extends by 9mph to 161mph.

The plush four-door saloon als receives the same subtle exterior and interior styling changes as other variants of the four-year-old Panamera and is due to go on sale in the UK this autumn. Towing capacity is up by 100kg at 2600kg.

Despite the added performance and towing potential, Porsche claims a 0.6mph improvement in combined cycle economy at 44.1mpg along with a 3g/km improvement in CO2 emissions at 169g/km.

2014 Porsche Panamera Turbo S - lançado

Turbo S Executive introduced

Porsche has completed the 2014 Panamera facelift lineup with the introduction of the Turbo S model.
Joining the already launched standard Panamera and the Turbo and E-Hybridderivatives, the Turbo S is now 20 HP (15 kW) more powerful than its predecessor, raising the horsepower number of the V8 4.8-liter twin-turbo to 570 HP (419 kW). The additional oomph is now available thanks to new turbochargers with a larger compressor improving air flow and combustion. The range-topping Panamera needs 3.6 seconds until 60 mph (96 km/h) before topping out at 192 mph (309 km/h).

It has the same styling updates as seen on the lesser models including a revised front bumper with bigger air intakes and reworked LED headlights. The back of the car shows a larger window stretching within the tailgate, as well as a body-colored four-way spoiler and an updated bumper.
One of the most significant changes of the Turbo S facelift is the addition of an Executive version which extends the wheelbase by 5.9 inches (150mm) so there is more room inside the cabin, especially for those sitting in the back.

The 2014 Porsche Panamera Turbo S and Turbo S Executive are scheduled to make their public debut next month at the Tokyo Motor Show in Japan. Pricing in United States starts at 180,300 USD for the Turbo S and from 200,500 USD for the Turbo S Executive. These prices do not take into account the delivery charges.
