Para mim os Katatonia ainda estão para lançar algo tão bom ou melhor que o Brave Murder Day. Gosto muito dos mais recentes, mas aquele, é a minha referencia [br] e com esse grande special guest, só podia dar nuns dos melhores trabalhos de Death/Doom que já ouvi. Pena agora já não se fazer muita coisa nesse estilo, aliás, das três bandas actuais que mais oiço do género, duas são portuguesas...

Da fase mais antiga também é o album que mais gosto, mas apesar de tudo considero a fase Viva Emptiness / The Great Cold Distace como a melhor fase a nivel instrumental.

Cada vez surgem menos bandas de Doom...nesta onda costumo ouvir Cathedral, Grand Magus, Paradise Lost, Anathema, The Obsessed, Pentagram (dos 70´s), Bedemon, The Gathering, Electric Wizard, High on fire.

Claro que alguns nomes que citei são de áreas algo distintas dentro do Doom (vão desde o Stoner Doom ao Doom Metal), mas genericamente é isto que mais ouço.
