Da fase mais antiga também é o album que mais gosto, mas apesar de tudo considero a fase Viva Emptiness / The Great Cold Distace como a melhor fase a nivel instrumental.

Cada vez surgem menos bandas de Doom...nesta onda costumo ouvir Cathedral, Grand Magus, Paradise Lost, Anathema, The Obsessed, Pentagram (dos 70´s), Bedemon, The Gathering, Electric Wizard, High on fire.

Claro que alguns nomes que citei são de áreas algo distintas dentro do Doom (vão desde o Stoner Doom ao Doom Metal), mas genericamente é isto que mais ouço.

Neste momento:

Electric Wizard - Witchcult Today

Dai ter referido Death/Doom... O pessoal do heavy doom, 70's, """"stoner"""" não gosta de meter tudo no mesmo saco, por vezes referindo-se a esta vertente como o doom ortodoxo.

Então e bandas tipo Witchfinder General, ou Sleep, não gostas?
