Three separate sessions and a bunch of cooling and waiting to try to get this thing to behave, and it always ended like this. Each time it popped a check-engine light and turned stability control back on. The car's spectacular on a back road. It looks amazing, and it pulls people off sidewalks at intersections. But on a relatively mild summer day, the car couldn't hold together long enough to give me one full lap. And the prep instructions from FCA said we were supposed to stop every three laps to let the diff cool, if we saw problems. Busso would be laughing his ass off.

    Guys: I'm not alone, and among journalists and test Giulias, this is hardly an isolated incident. History and public perception mean you're already fighting an uphill battle in this country. My last Giulia press car idled so unevenly it rocked the cabin, and it didn't like pulling away from stoplights. Car and Driver has an in-house code reader all but earmarked for Alfas, and every test Giulia they've seen has had problems. This is how you walk back into a room? Even Alfettas didn't hate life this much.

    I'm admittedly biased. I wanted so badly for it to be good. Always been one of the hopeful suckers. I was once a professional Alfa wrench. I was once somehow lucky enough to slide Nuvolari's Tipo B around a track. I've helped set up Alfa Trans-Am race cars. I've driven almost every postwar Alfa model sold in this country. All of which isn't worth a bucket of piss except to let me say that I know where you came from. I know how reliable those cars were and still are, how much they loved abuse. In 2017, this is embarrassing, disappointing, unnecessary, and stupid. You owe it to the badge, the people who love it, and the soul of the thing: Do better.

Para os americanos só V8 pastelões são fiáveis.

Exemplo para eles a VW é uma marca pouco fiável, por cá é bem vista, e nos rankings reais está a meio da tabela.
Exemplos pontuais (anedóticos), estereótipos etc, de pouco valem.

Se há estatísticas, indices e rankings de fiabilidade, para quê as bocas e picardias...
 
Ontem vi um que parou no meio da estrada a deitar muito fumo do compartimento do motor, acho que se não fosse outro condutor que parou e despejou o extintor no alfa ele tinha ardido completamente
