Facelift da VW Amarok:


A prototype of the 2014 Volkswagen Amarok was spied by our photographers featuring slightly updated headlights.
Volkswagen is preparing a minor revision for its Amarok pickup due later this year which will be available with reworked headlights incorporating a new set of LED daytime running lights. The prototype was caught on camera somewhere in Scandinavia equipped with wide U-shaped DRLs and it seems this was the only change as the vehicle didn't have camo anywhere else.
Engine lineup will probably be carried over from the current model and will include the 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter BiTDI engine delivering 180 HP (132 kW) and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque which grants the truck with a 3,200 kg (7,054 lbs) towing capacity. This engine can be coupled to a six-speed manual transmission with selectable 4MOTION or to an eight-speed automatic gearbox featuring permanent 4MOTION.

2014 Volkswagen Amarok spied with redesigned headlights
 

Nissan spokesperson Dan Bedore has revealed the next-generation Titan will be unveiled at the 2015 North American International Auto Show.
Speaking to Edmunds, Bedore said "you will see [the Titan] at Detroit auto show time." Bedore declined to elaborate but the North American International Auto Show kicks off on January 12th, 2015.
Nissan has been talking about the Titan for months and has already confirmed the model will be offered with a new 5.0-liter V8 Cummins turbodiesel engine that develops more than 300 bhp (223 kW) and 550 lb-ft (744 Nm) of torque.
The truck will also be offered in additional configurations including a new regular cab variant. As Bedore explained, "Our problem currently is the Titan does not have a regular cab. We are missing a big chunk of the business

Volkswagen considering a pickup for the United States - report
[h=2]Might not be the Amarok[/h] Volkswagen North American CEO Michael Horn has revealed the company is once again considering a pickup for the United States.
Speaking at the sidelines of the Geneva Motor Show, Horn told Autoblog "The Amarok is too small for the U.S." but "let's put it this way: we start to discuss it again and whether it's attractive for us."
His sentiments were echoed by Volkswagen powertrain guru Dr. Heinz-Jakob Neußer who said "We are just reworking our truck strategy and this is part of thinking about it. But the Amarok fits not very well to the efforts of the market."
In the meantime, Volkswagen is reportedly watching the launch of the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon to see how the market responds. If there's a lot of demand for the trucks, it could help sway their decision to launch a pickup in the United States.

Pessoal, sou muito verde nas questões das picks-ups e precisava de ajuda:

Qual o modelo mais fiável para trabalho? A carrinha será para fazer uns 50.000km ano. Ouço falar muito bem das Isuzu. Será cabine simples.

Qual o modelo mais recente e se estão previstas as chegadas de novos modelos? Trabalho numa empresa e tenho de pesquisar.

As japonesas são quase imbativeis,mas a Amarok e a Ranger tambem não são más.
A minha escolha caíria na Navara ou na L-200,a primeira pelo equipamento e pela maior fiabilidade,a Mitsubishi pela estética.
Novos modelos? Só se for a nova Mitsubishi L-200 a chegar no ultimo trimeste deste ano.
