Eu lembro-me de ver um MG verde que estava praticamente pronto mas coincidiu com a falência da empresa e já não foi para a frente. Falou-se na hipótese de quem quer que adquirisse a empresa aproveitar o projecto, porque o trabalho já estava quase todo feito, mas nunca mais ouvi falar de nada e agora aparece aqui este "MG" asiático...

Agora a Susie Stoddart não me lembro de ter ouvido falar mas o nome Stoddart é o apelido do antigo dono da Minardi F1 agora Toro Rosso será que a senhora pertence ao Paul Stoddart ( filha , esposa ,prima .... )[}

DTM: Mr Le Mans vence
Tom Kristensen alcançou hoje a segunda vitória da sua carreira no DTM, ao oferecer hoje em Oschersleben o primeiro sucesso deste ano da Audi.
O Dinamarquês, que venceu Le Mans por sete vezes, partiu da pole-position para a prova de hoje, tendo aproveitado da melhor forma a sua vantagem à partida para assumir o comando. Kristensen nunca perdeu a liderança ao longo de toda a corrida, tendo construído rapidamente uma confortável vantagem.
O único momento de maior apuro aconteceu quando, dobrar os retardatários, perdeu o seu avanço para Bruno Spengler. Porém, o dinamarquês colocou em sentido o homem da Mercedes que acabaria a corrida na segunda posição.
Jamie Green subiu ao degrau mais baixo do pódio, concluindo a prova muito perto de Spengler, mas sem conseguir desfeitear o canadiano, resignado-se com a terceira posição.
Estes três pilotos dominaram completamente a prova de hoje, tendo o quarto classificado, Heinz-Harald Frentzen, quedado-se a quase vinte segundos de Kristensen. O até agora líder do campeonato, Bernd Schneider, não foi além da quinta posição, o que significou perder o comando para Kristensen.

Para quem teve oportunidade de ver, foi interessante. Até aos primeiros reabastecimentos foi uma constante luta a 6 (3 Audi, 3 Mercedes) para os 6 primeiros lugares. Após essa fase ainda houve lutas mas mais mornas. A parte final foi mais calma mas ainda assim com os seus pontos de interesse.
Frentzen, que tinha conquistado a pole-position, ficou muito agastado com a corrida e pode sair do DTM.

Whereas Frentzen said previous to the race he would talk to Audi about their future together, after the race the German was less diplomatic. "I'm very disapointed now. Not only because of what happened with Mattias, with the way the race was going for me as well", he said.
"The timing of the pitstops were not good at all, where my teammates seemed to be favoured, and after that being pushed out of the race by a teammate", Frentzen continued. "The race today shows what my position in the team is and how popular I am with my teammates. I never really felt welcome in this team. I can't say now whether or not I will be in DTM next year, but I can say that i'm very dissapointed right now."
If Frentzen is to leave DTM, it would mean another former F1-star would leave the series. Jean Alesi announced his retirement last thursday and was thanked by his colleague drivers before the race. Frentzens departure would leave Mika Häkkinen as only former Formula 1-star in the series. Another small setback for the series, which has always propagated the high amount of F1-drivers.
Audi Motorsport boss Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich replied:
"I can understand that Heinz-Harald Frentzen is deeply disappointed after the race at Hockenheim. He started from the pole position and was hoping to claim his first victory in the DTM. But the race did not go for him as expected. He was overtaken by Bruno Spengler, gave away valuable time when driving off from his second pit stop and was spun by a team-mate shortly before crossing the finish line.
It is understandable that he is less than delighted about this. Making mutual accusations in public, such as those voiced by Heinz-Harald on television, are not Audi#8217;s style. We assume that Heinz-Harald made his comments as an initial response to the disappointment he suffered and will see things differently with a certain detachment. Everyone at Audi Sport and Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline has been fully committed to enabling Heinz-Harald to achieve good results.
He had the same material as his team-mates and the full support of the entire Audi squad in a season that was difficult for all of us. We are now going to take a quick decision as to whether or not there will be a joint future for Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Audi. I#8217;m disappointed by him.#8221;

Audi and Frentzen go their separate ways
Audi and Heinz-Harald Frentzen (39) will part company after just one DTM season. The former Formula 1 driver had prematurely parked his Audi A4 DTM in Sunday#8217;s DTM finale at Hockenheim following a collision and later stated that he had not been fully supported by Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline during the 2006 season having not been accepted within the Audi squad.
In a conversation between Head of Audi Motorsport, Dr Wolfgang Ullrich, and Heinz-Harald Frentzen on Monday, no basis for a further successful collaboration could be found.
Frentzen was signed by Audi shortly before the start of the 2006 season and competed in ten DTM races for Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline. He finished third in the season "opener#8221; at Hockenheim and also at Barcelona. He completed the DTM season in seventh position overall with 24 points.
"Unfortunately, Heinz-Harald was also unable to win a DTM race with Audi,#8221; explained Head of Audi Motorsport Dr Wolfgang Ullrich. "Audi Sport and the race team of Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline have been fully committed to enabling Heinz-Harald to achieve good results.
