ARLINGTON, Va. — The 2019 Mazda 3 hatchback and sedan both earn Top Safety Pick awards from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The hatchback earns the award with standard equipment, while the sedan qualifies when equipped with an optional front crash prevention system.

Ratings are reduced only for the potential injury of the steering column and a slight risk for the legs. Despite the formal absence of signs of loss of structural integrity, the Renault body is, by modern standards, not strong enough. The cabin cage is deformed more strongly than Solaris or Creta. However, XRAY Cross scored a total of 13.7 points out of a possible 16 and received well-deserved four stars.

O Clio teve um melhor resultado do que o Corolla.
E melhor que o premium Audi, contudo o resultado provavelmente seria diferente, no embate carro contra carro

Neither design did very well in the crash test. Trafikverket predicted the driver of the semi-integrated RV wouldn't survive the collision. On the integrated layout, the body actually separated from the chassis, and there's no crash structure because the maker constructs the panels out of wood.
Além disso a Fiat que escolheram para fazer, a semi-integrated rv, obteve um fraco resultado no crash test da ADAC, aliás a cabine do conditor era completamente esborrachada pela parte da carga que ficava, praticamente intacta.
