Tópico Subaru - 3 modelos eléctricos para 2026

Boas,

Impreza WRX STI Spec-C

Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), a global manufacturer of transportation and aerospace-related products and the maker of Subaru automobiles, today announced that it would submit a homologation application to the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) for the finely tuned new Subaru Impreza WRX STI spec C to rally as a Group N vehicle in 2006*.

To enter FIA-approved racing and rallying championships that take place around the world, cars must be homologated according to the FIA regulations. Group N (production cars) is one of the rally and off-road vehicle groups set forth by the FIA. Defined as large-scale series production touring cars, Group N homologation imposes strict limits on modifications to production models and is known as the category that best reflects the performance inherent to the basic production model.

WRX STI spec C is very suitable for racing due to its lightened body and high performance engine. Therefore, the application embodies the company’s plan to position this model as a key competitor in motorsport activities for 2005 and beyond. Last year, Subaru Impreza WRX STI spec C ”WR-Limited 2004” was applied for the FIA homologation.

FHI will produce more than 1,000 units of the Impreza WRX STI spec C during 2005, which is the minimum level of production required for Group N classification, and the company is planning to have the vehicle homologated before the 2006 rally season begins.

Major Features of the finely tuned new Impreza WRX STI spec C

* Compared to the Impreza WRX STI, Impreza WRX STI spec C is about 70 kilograms lighter through the adaptation of lighter glass, a trunk lid composed of aluminum, and thinner roof construction.
* Reinforcing braces have been added to the front strut tower on the WRX STI spec C. In addition, the solid bars used to connect the front pillar and upper frame have been replaced by enhanced hollow bars and rigidity of chassis have been improved
* A rear crossbar has been fitted to further improve body rigidity.
* The turbocharger in the Impreza WRX STI spec C uses precise ball bearings in the shaft to reduce friction, thereby offering a smooth and speedy turbo boost and providing ideal engine response.
* A large water reservoir for the intercooler water spray as well as an air-cooled engine oil cooler have been implemented to ensure stable engine performance.

* Applicable 17inch tire specification only

O novo Subaru Impreza WRC
Data: 12/09/2005 13:53

European premiere number 1: The new Subaru Impreza

The new Impreza continues to win by the redefinition of its sporty feature and for its typical handling at attractiveness. To model year 2006 the external Design was refurbished and the engine offer was thoroughly revised. Subaru offers for the sporty Impreza series now excluding DO HC-ENGINES.

The again developed 2.0-Liter-DOHC-Boxermotor with 16 valves in the Impreza 2.0R replaces the 2.0-Liter-SOHC 16V. The rated output of 118 KW (160 HP) with 6.500/min exceeds the achievement of the past 2.0-Liter-SOHC by 26 KW (35 HP). The past 1.6-Liter-Basismotor is not any longer built.

In the sporty Topmodell Impreza WRX STI is used now instead of the past 2.0-Liter-Turbotriebwerks with 195 KW (265 HP) of 206 KW (280 HP) strong 2.5-Liter-Hochdruck-Turbo. In addition engineers revised the center differential controllable of the driver (Driver's control Centre differential - DCCD), in order to focus the handling more strongly on the requirements of the driver.

The Impreza WRX is propelled by the 2.5-Liter-Turbomotor, which carries now 169 KW out (230 HP). By the balance of high driving dynamics and driving stability the Impreza embodies pure driving pleasure.

B11S (2003) - O carro que começou a nova opção estilística da Subaru

Combining sophisticated sporty design with ample interior space, the Subaru B11S represents a new type of four-door Coupe. While it was developed to demonstrate FHI's future design direction and strengthened design capabilities, the Subaru B11S also features superb driving performance, which is ensured by a Symmetrical AWD (all-wheel-drive) system in combination with a horizontally-opposed engine.

Since Kyoji Takenaka assumed the title of President and Chief Operating Officer in June 2001, FHI has been enhancing its design capabilities as part of companywide reforms aimed at improving the Subaru brand. One year later, as FHI began placing greater emphasis on the importance of design development, the long experienced Subaru car designer, Kiyoshi Sugimoto, was promoted to the position of Vice President, Senior General Manager of Subaru Product and Portfolio Planning Division and General Manager of Subaru Design Department, which marked the first time that a car designer was appointed to the executive officers. The Subaru B11S is the first concept car designed under the leadership of Mr. Sugimoto with guidance from Mr. Takenaka in initial concept development. The Barcelona-based independent design studio, Fuore Design International, under the leadership of Erwin Himmel, which has been retained by FHI as a consultancy, contributed to the creation of the B11S.#12288;#12288;

Concept
The B11S has been developed to pursue the concept of Gran Utility Turismo, which embodies the perfect blend of sporty driving, comfort, functionality and elegance. The car incorporates all the crucial ingredients of this concept. It features attractive styling and packaging, which further reflect FHI's corporate philosophy, Innovative, Individual and Courageous ; Subaru's technological strengths, such as the horizontally-opposed engine and a Symmetrical AWD system; and driving performance equivalent to a high-performance sports car for the enthusiast.

Exterior design
The exterior design, composed of sophisticated flowing curves, expresses an elegant, sleek Coupe, while the car comfortably accommodating four adults. The front fascia, which fortifies its sporty look, conjures the turbine of a small jet plane and the freedom of flying wings-an association with FHI's corporate roots as an aircraft company, as well as a reminder of outstanding aerodynamic technology and performance.

The two pairs of side doors open like gates and latch in the middle without a conventional B-pillar, an arrangement that facilitates access to the back seats and makes interior room seem even more spacious. Developed specifically for the B11S, the frosted glass roof provides an open-air feeling, as in a convertible, and it creates a pleasant soft light inside the vehicle that enhances the quality look of its interior. The unique glass roof design was inspired by the design and construction of traditional Japanese umbrellas.

Interior design
In sharp contrast to the white pearl body color, for the interior of the B11S the color blue has been selected influenced by Subaru's characteristic color. Strong emphasis was placed on crafting an understated yet high-quality ambience in the cabin's design, which is reminiscent of Japanese interior decoration and its attention-to-detail approach. In addition, the folding backseats allow easy access to and from the trunk for luggage or sports equipment. The interior provides a comfortable space for passengers and offers practical solutions at the same time.

Driving performance
The B11S has been equipped with a new, horizontally-opposed, 6-cylinder engine. This engine, which will meet both the needs of driving pleasure and the demands of environmental considerations, is currently under development. Thanks to twin-turbocharger, the engine will ensure a smooth ride in low- and middle-speed ranges while it achieves a maximum output of 294 kW (400 ps) and a maximum torque of 550 Nm (56.1kgfm).

The Symmetrical AWD system integrated with a 5-speed automatic transmission comes with VTD (variable torque distribution), Subaru's unique, electronically controlled torque distribution system. While the basic torque distribution ratio of front to rear wheels is set at 35% and 65%, respectively, the VTD optimally controls the torque distribution between front and rear wheels according to driving conditions and realizes a high level of balance between the yawing tendency of a vehicle and high-speed stability.

Prodrive, the company that runs the Subaru World Rally Team, launched its all-new Subaru Impreza Group N car for 2006, the N12 last week, prior to the Wales Rally GB.

David Richards, WRC boss and chairman of Prodrive, was at launch, which took place in Cardiff.

"The car features many performance enhancements over the current 2005 model, the N11," read a statement from Prodrive.

"Engine power and torque output are up, thanks to an increase in turbo boost, while the car has aerodynamic improvements as a result of the base car's face lift and changes to the rear spoiler and air diffuser."

In the last three years, the Impreza has become the most competitive car in the Group N class, winning the Production Car World Rally Championship in 2003 and 2004 and currently the Imprezas lie first, second and third in the 2005 PCWRC, as well as occupying eight of the top ten positions.

Last year, Prodrive Group N customers also won national Group N championships across the world in Russia, Italy, Turkey, Ireland, Poland, Slovenia, Estonia and South Africa. This year they have already secured the Middle East and Slovenian Rally Championships for the second seasons in succession.

"Just four years ago, Prodrive was manufacturing less than ten Group N cars a year, in 2005 the company has made more than 40 international specification N11s and sold a further 20 base cars for conversion," added a statement from the company.

"Prodrive's target is to produce a similar number of N12s for 2006, which will bring the total to more than 200 that it has sold."

Following development work on the first prototype N12, the first customer cars are now scheduled to be delivered in December, with Prodrive and Subaru working towards a homologation date of January 2006.

Left hand drive conversion kits will also once again be available.
