The presence of Volkswagen at this year's Paris Motor Show (1 to 16 October) is all about "Think New.": in presenting the world premiere of an iconic design study, Volkswagen introduces a new ambassador to the automotive world.

This one-of-a-kind concept car signals the Volkswagen brand's entry into a new era: because the vehicle is as revolutionary as the Beetle was seven decades ago before it evolved into the world's best-selling car of the century. The concept car has the potential to make history with its completely new vehicle concept. The production vehicle which follows will be the first Volkswagen to hit the market based on the new modular electrification kit (MEB).

Estou curioso mas cético ao mesmo tempo.....já em 2010 diziam que em 2017 seriam lideres mundiais em EVs, mas a única coisa que se viu foi a adaptação do up e golf. E só começaram agora a falar mais nisso pq correu tudo muito mal com a fraude dos motores a diesel
 
Está giro. Só não gosto das rodas, são muito grandes e aumentam ainda mais a sensação do carro ser baixo.

Não entendo a lógica de lançar números (autonomia p.e.) que em 2020 estarão completamente desactualizados (para bem da marca espero que não sejam os finais).
 
Não gosto da VW, é um facto que admito, mas não consigo ver nada de interessante, bonito no design do carro. A traseira... que bocejo. Uma pessoa esforça-se para dizer alguma coisa boa do carro, mas não se vê nada de extraordinário...

Se é isto que fazem na plataforma nova que podia ser o que quisessem, então já sei como o Golf 8 vai ser.

O infotainment parece que vai controlar tudo, ou seja, botões físicos vão ser raros; tenho dúvidas se funcionará bem num écrã daquelas dimensões.
 
Também não aprecio a VW (prometi a mim mesmo há quase duas décadas que dificilmente cá voltava a entrar um em casa) e não é que acho piada ao que as fotos apresentam?!
O meu próximo carro já deverá ser elétrico (fico apenas com moto a combustão). Quanto mais oferta melhor!
