The 2015 Smart ForTwo has made a surprise cameo at the unveiling of the Mercedes V-Class. Appearing on screen behind Dr Dieter Zetsche, the third-generation ForTwo borrows cues from the ForVision concept. While there isn't much to see, the model appears to have a silver tridion safety cell and a revised greenhouse.
Smart has remained tight-lipped about the model but it will ride on a jointly developed architecture and measure approximately 2.69 meters (8.8 feet) long.
Engine options remain a mystery but there could be a turbocharged three-cylinder petrol with outputs of 84 bhp (63 kW) and 104 bhp (77 kW). We can also expect another ElectricDrive variant with approximately 87 bhp (65 kW).
