Novo Citroën C5

After some serious rethinking from Citroen, the C5 is now a very attractive car that drives well, rides smoothly and provides a luxurious atmosphere. If our judgement was to be made on the product alone, then the C5 truly challenges for a position amongst the big sellers, even if it doesn't set the new standards for others to follow.
However, the true test of the car is whether the future will be kind to its value and the quality of the interior finish. For Citroen to truly be a player in the corporate market, the new C5 must hold its value in comparison to those around it. It's impossible to comment on such things in a first drive, but at least the first impressions are good.

Sobre as suspensões metálicas:

Our car was fitted with the new metallic suspension, something that could prove telling in the success of the saloon. Ride quality is something that Citroen has a well earned reputation for, and we were concerned that they might follow the standards set by Audi and BMW and make everything too firm. Thankfully this was not the case, and the ride was smooth along the whole variety of roads on our test route. The real litmus test will be the less than forgiving UK B-roads, but the overall ride quality was more French than German.
We were also able to have a go in a car featuring the Hydractive suspension, and while this was even more comfortable than the new metallic suspension, it was a little more imprecise through the corners.

Os frisos cromados que a Citroën "espalhou" por esta versão Exclusive é que quanto a mim são de gosto um bocado duvidoso.

Agravado quando se tratam de cores escuras...

Aposto como no próximo restyle do C5, aquele butão de emergência vai mudar para a porta do passageiro.... [:D] Agora a sério, acho que o próximo restyle vai colocar o butão de emergência perto do condutor, é ridícula aquela disposição, é a única coisa que acho menos conseguida no carro... [:cool:]
