Novo Opel Corsa - OPC apanhado (pág. 25)

COMMENTS
Euro NCAP’s rating applies fully only to the model with the specifications detailed here. Some equipment may not be fitted as
standard to all versions in all countries. You should ensure that your car is fitted with the safety equipment you require.
PEDESTRIAN PROTECTION The protection offered by the bonnet to the head of a child and the protection offered by the bumper to pedestrians' legs
were predominantly rated 'fair'. The leading edge of the bonnet scored no points.
The Corsa has a seatbelt reminder for the driver only. It met Euro NCAP's requirements.
CHILD PROTECTION
SEATBELT REMINDER
The Corsa scored maximum points for its performance in the side impact and pole tests.
The double pre-tensioner on the driver's seatbelt restrained the dummy so that the knees did not contact the dashboard.
The head of the driver dummy bottomed-out the airbag onto the steering wheel. However, head protection was still rated
as 'adequate'. The passenger dummy scored maximum points.
The passenger airbag can be deactivated to allow a rearward-facing child restraint to be used. However, information
provided to the driver regarding the status of the airbag is not sufficiently clear to meet Euro NCAP's requirements. The
presence of ISOFIX anchorages in the rear outboard seats is not prominently marked.
