Al menos pesa más,
pero quizás el 505 sino muy cerca de los CX, Ford Granada, Rover Sd1,Renault 20 y 30, y ya de paso Renault 25, Ford Scorpio, Opel Omega I, etc,
como mínimo a medio camino entre estos anteriores(y no inferiores a coches tales como el Fiat Croma I, Lancia Thema I, Rover 800 y Honda Legend I, Opel Rekord)
y los "inferiores" tales como
el 305, 405 y BX, Ford Sierra, Opel AS****, o similares(al menos coche contra coche), otra cosa que contra un muro o un coche de similar peso y rigidez sean similares...

Já visitei a fábrica/linha de produção, há 2 anos, é aqui perto de onde eu moro. Espectacular! Um colega de trabalho arranjou 6 convites e perguntou-me se queria ir. Depois de chegarmos, vimos uns 30 min de vídeo e apresentação do guia, a contar a história da fábrica, e meteram-nos num "comboinho" com capacete e protecção auditória e passámos por todo o lado, desde a estampagem à montagem final. Só não vemos a pintura porque é uma área selada (por causa dos detritos no ar) e não têm fundição, os motores por exemplo já chegam montados de outra fábrica. No total foram cerca de 2h. Actualmente fabricam o Mini e o BMW X1, se a memória não me engana.

Ao ver uma reportagem antiga, sobre sinistralidade automóvel reparei nesta imagem.
O modelo em causa não interessa, mas sim o facto de ter um tecto em vidro ou um para brisas panorâmico. Denota-se que a deformação e os estragos no vidro não se estendem, para além da zona onde se situa o para brisas normal, apesar de se ver deformações nos pilares junto ao tecto.Não são de excluir mais tarde que as rachas no para brisas subam até ao topo do vidro, mas mesmo assim parece-me que este vidro panorâmico tal como o do Astra H GTC entre muitos outros semelhantes oferece, uma protecção ao nível das soluções convencionais em troca de algum peso extra

Mais uma polémica chinesa. Parece que o site do China Ncap, ou o programa de teste chines acabou, e entrou em cena uma consorcio das seguradores chinesas, no género do IIHS.
E pelo facto do SUV Xpeng G3, que é vendido na Noruega não ter, disparado os airbags de cortina no embate lateral, muitos dizem que o carro não tem airbags laterais

Unfortunately, it is not online anymore, which raises concerns if the Chinese safety program is still working. The CIASI (China Insurance Automotive Safety Index) video reveals a car without curtain airbags and an impressive image of what happens in vehicles that do not have them.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has posted official federal crash-test results for the 2021 Tesla Model Y, and it achieves top-tier results in every possible way.
In federal NCAP crash testing, the Model Y achieved five stars overall, plus five stars in every single category of frontal and side testing, as well as in rollover, which uses static and dynamic methods to consider the likelihood of a single-vehicle rollover crash.
Interessante ver que atualmente os tectos em vidro, são actualmente tão resisitentes quanto os de chapa
