O site autoedizione.com publicou no dia 17 esta notícia sobre o Eng. Roberto Fedeli e não refere nada quanto à saída de Philippe Krief:
Alfa Romeo’s first engineer since 1991 is Roberto Fedeli
February 17, 2016
Whilst the tireless tabloids like to refer to engineer Reberto Fedeli’s coming to Alfa Romeo as a logical consequence of the Giulia’s seemingly everlasting development, the timing in fact has everything to do with the forthcoming launches of new models. The former Ferrari-man is the first engineer at Alfa Romeo since 1991 and has been given the important task of making one technical development after the other for the Milanese brand in the next years. This might very well include development for F1 as Marchionne once again repeated last week that a return to F1 is a serious target in the near future. Production of petrol engines has in the meantime already started in Termoli (2.0 MultiAir turbo and the 2.9 V6) and these will be on show in Geneva in several variants.
Next to his assignments for Alfa Romeo, Fedeli will also be handling some of Maserati’s developments. It is possible that these two brands will share more and more components in the future such as platform technique, engines and also hybrid solutions which will be used in the Levante (to be revealed in Geneva). Once the Giulia is launched, Alfa will immediately shift its focus towards their first SUV. Insiders claim this model is to be shown to the public late this year. These are all projects that have been developed and built from the ground up; not something that’s done overnight. Fedeli shall therefore be given the same ever-so-important task as his illustrious predecessors such as Orazio Satta Puliga, Filippo Surace, Domenico Chirico and Stefano Iacoponi. Before Fedeli went to BMW, he helped develop innovative Ferraris like the F355, 360 Modena, 550 Maranello, 575 and 599 Fiorano. Since he returned to Maranello as a technical director back in 2007, he’s been in charge of fabulous projects such as the California, 458 Italia, 458 Speciale, California T, 488 and… the LaFerrari. He should be the right man for Alfa Romeo, right?
