Dynamische Eleganz auf der Straße, höchste Vernunft an der Tankstelle - was unvereinbar scheint, wird ab September 2003 mit dem 3er Coupé 320Cd Wirklichkeit: Sein 2,0 Liter Vierzylindermotor sorgt mit 150 PS (110 kW) für ein durch und durch dynamisches Fahrvergnügen und begnügt sich gleichzeitig mit äußerst bescheidenen 5,7 Liter Dieselkraftstoff auf 100 Kilometer, gemessen nach dem neuen Europäischen Fahrzyklus NEFZ.
Die im Frühjahr präsentierte neueste Generation des 3er Coupés hat bereits mit dem weltersten BMW Diesel-Coupé 330Cd für Furore gesorgt. Mit dem BMW 320Cd erweitert sich das Vernunftangebot für Dynamikliebhaber um einen weiteren, sehr attraktiven und effizient mit dem Kraftstoff umgehenden Motor. Er ist besonders für Vielfahrer höchst interessant.
Der Reihenvierzylinder im neuen BMW 320Cd überzeugt mit einer für einen Dieselmotor überraschenden Elastizität. Ursache hierfür ist die neueste Common-Rail-Technologie der zweiten Generation, die das hohe maximale Drehmoment von 330 Newtonmeter bereits bei niedrigen 2000 /min-1 zur Verfügung stellt. Damit zeigt sich das neue Coupé besonders im Antritt außergewöhnlich dynamisch. Den Sprint aus dem Stand auf Tempo 100 absolviert der 320Cd in gerade 8,8 Sekunden, den für Überholmanöver auf der Landstraße so typischen Zwischenspurt von 80 auf 120 km/h im vierten Gang in 7,2 Sekunden. Schließlich belegt die Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 221 km/h, dass der neue 320Cd ein durch und durch dynamisches Coupé und damit ein typischer 3er ist, der in punkto Fahrleistungen und Laufkultur den Modellen mit Ottomotor in nichts nachsteht.
Sechsganggetriebe serienmäßig.
Effizienter Umgang mit dem Kraftstoff bei gleichzeitig exzellenten Fahrleistungen sind auch ein Verdienst des hervorragend mit diesem Zweilitermotor harmonierenden serienmäßigen Sechsgang-Handschaltgetriebes. Der erste Gang ist auf Zugkraft ausgelegt, was die Beschleunigung aus dem Stand und aus niedrigem Tempo begünstigt. Mit den fünf weiteren Gängen - im Sechsten wird die Höchstgeschwindigkeit erreicht - steht stets der zu einer bestimmten Geschwindigkeit oder Drehzahl jeweils exakt passende Gang zur Verfügung. So kann der Fahrer des 320Cd in jeder Situation ein hohes Drehmoment abrufen, also bestmöglich beschleunigen. Ebenso ist das Coupé aber auch "schaltfaul" zu fahren, ohne dabei zu viel an Agilität zu verlieren. BMW typisch lässt sich das Sechsganggetriebe mit seinen kurzen, präzisen Schaltwegen sehr leichtgängig und komfortabel bedienen, was den dynamischen Charakter des Coupés unterstreicht.
Als Sonderausstattung ist für das neue BMW Coupé ein Fünfgang-Automatikgetriebe mit Adaptiver Getriebesteuerung (AGS) und Steptronic lieferbar. Es ermöglicht sportliches Fahren und komfortablen Gangwechsel in Vollendung, weil es sich durch das AGS sowohl dem Fahrertyp als auch der jeweiligen Fahrsituation anpasst. Die Steptronic-Funktion ermöglicht sogar das Schalten per Hand via Mittelschalthebel. Die Beschleunigung von 0 auf 100 km/h beträgt mit Automatikgetriebe 9,1 Sekunden, die Höchstgeschwindigkeit 213 km/h. Der Verbrauch bleibt bei bescheidenen 6,9 Liter/100 km.

Vi ontem um BMW ja com uns anos... nunca tinha visto akele modelo, penso que dizia Z1, tava porreiro! Os BMW so têm 1 defeito, o numero deles que andam pelas nossas estradas, é um carro bonito, mas que cansou porque ha muitos!
Os meu BM favorito é o modelo E30 versao berlina e coupe, puro e duro!

fui ver o Serie 5... adorei... mas reparei numa coisa... o i-drive estava em ingles.... disseram-me q em portugal vai ser em espanhol... axo isso triste!

nao acredito que a BMW nao faça a traduçao do i-drive para portugues... até a renault tem o computador de bordo falante em português de portugal. nao lhes custa nada fazer isso.
