Mais uma vez, o Latin NCAP prejudica um fabricante nacional de automóveis ao dar nota zero para um modelo que não é produzido no país. Dessa vez, foi uma Mitsubishi L200 importada da Tailândia. No Brasil, ela é fabricada nacionalmente e diferente.

The redesigned 2020 Subaru Legacy and Outback each earn safety awards from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

Both the Legacy and the Outback earn good ratings in all six of the Institute's crashworthiness evaluations and come standard with Subaru's EyeSight crash avoidance system. Each model earns a superior rating for vehicle-to-vehicle front crash prevention, avoiding collisions in 12 and 25 mph track tests. They have also been evaluated for pedestrian crash prevention, earning a superior rating, though that test isn't part of the 2019 awards criteria.

The 2020 Legacy earns a Top Safety Pick+ award when equipped with curve-adaptive headlights. Its base headlights earn an acceptable rating. That would be sufficient to qualify for an award without the "plus," though only one of the awards is given per model.

While the 2019 Outback earned the higher-tier "plus" award, the 2020 model is limited to a Top Safety Pick due to an acceptable headlight rating. That rating applies to its base headlights as well as its available curve-adaptive LEDs on models built after October 2019. The curve-adaptive lights on earlier models rate marginal.

Kona-Electric-ANCAP-Test-800x573.jpg

In September 2019 ANCAP conducted a frontal offset test of a Hyundai Kona Electric battery electric vehicle for audit test purposes. The audit test score was 14.97 out of 16.00. This is a slight improvement over the petrol powered vehicle and sees the existing 5 star ANCAP safety rating maintained.

Put to the test for a front offset crash in September, the electric version of Hyundai’s popular compact SUV scored 14.97 out of a possible 16, beating the petrol version, which was last tested in 2017, by 0.95 points.

[h=1]Tesla Model S P100D supera crash-tests da FIA[/h]https://www.turbo.pt/tesla-model-s-p100d-supera-crash-tests-da-fia/

PRESS RELEASE

The all-new Subaru Forester e-BOXER awarded maximum Five Star Rating in 2019 Euro NCAP Safety Test

  • Subaru awarded top rating for the 8th consecutive time*1
  • The all-new Forester e-BOXER achieved the highest score ever in its class*2 in the Child Occupant Protection test
  • The all-new Forester e-BOXER performed the best score ever for Subaru in the Adult and Child Occupant Protection*3
Zaventem, December 4, 2019 – Subaru Europe, the European subsidiary of Subaru Corporation, announced today that the all-new Subaru Forester e-BOXER (European specs.) has achieved the maximum five star overall rating in the 2019 European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP)*4 safety performance test. In addition, the Subaru XV has been reconfirmed with the maximum five star rating with the e-BOXER version in 2019, following 2017 Euro NCAP safety test.
The all-new Subaru Forester e-BOXER has registered outstanding scores in all four assessment areas (Adult Occupant, Child Occupant, Vulnerable Road Users, Safety Assist), well above the minimum threshold required and with a noticeable high overall average.
The all-new Forester achieved the highest score ever in its class*2 in the Child Occupant Protection test. Euro NCAP commented in the official crash test report: “In both the frontal and side barrier tests, protection of all critical body areas was good for both dummies and the Forester scored maximum points in this part of the assessment. The front passenger airbag is automatically disabled when a rearward-facing child restraint is put in that seating position. Tests showed that the system worked robustly and the system was rewarded. All of the restraint types for which the Forester is designed could be properly installed and accommodated in the car.” Not only for Child Occupant Protection, the Forester also performed the best score ever for Subaru in the Adult Occupant Protection*3.
These superior crash safety performance have been achieved by the Subaru Global Platform (SGP). The SGP brings significant enhancement to the body and chassis rigidity (front lateral flexural rigidity +90%, torsional rigidity +70%, front suspension rigidity +70%, rear sub frame rigidity +100%) and impact energy absorption is improved by 40% over present models. Together with this solid body structure, safety features such as 7 airbags, including one SRS knee airbag installed for the driver's seat ensure collision safety performance of the Forester.
To make the all-new Forester safer than ever, new advanced safety technologies have also been employed. It is available as standard with EyeSight Driver Assist Technology (providing Autonomous Emergency Braking, lateral support functions and other functions) and adds to its increased safety package: Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection (SRVD), Reverse Autonomous Emergency Braking, Side View Monitor and Driver Monitoring System, a new facial recognition technology that alerts the driver when detecting signs of fatigue or distraction while on the road.

Globally, this fifth generation Forester had been praised with important awards: in Japan it won the Grand Prix Award for earning the highest score ever of 96.5 points (out of 100 points under new scoring method from the 2018-2019 assessment), in the 2018-2019 Japan New Car Assessment Program (JNCAP) collision safety performance assessment conducted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and the National Agency for Automotive Safety and Victim’s Aid (NASVA). The 2018-2019 Grand Prix Award in JNCAP collision safety performance assessment marks the second winning of the award for Subaru following the Grand Prix Award for Impreza and SUBARU XV in the 2016-2017 assessment.

Ford Mondeo Euroncap crash test
https://www.euroncap.com/en/results/ford/mondeo/39121
