Exacto!!!! Digamos que é um género de prémio "indústria", logo mais baseado em factos concretos e técnicos, ao invés de outros que são de índole mais "jornalística".

A questão não é o merecimento ou não. Eu por estar no ramo sei muito bem que estas coisas são muito obscuras, não digo que sejam todos, mas grande parte é....e sem tirar merito ao 500 em relação eurocarbody para mim e até prova em contrário é mais um....
Até pode ser o melhor, até pode ser o que merece mas para mim premios continuam a ter credibilidade zero.

Great minds think alike, then...
Yes, just weeks after CAR named the Fiat 500 its Car of The Year comes news that the baby Fiat has been elected European Car Of The Year of 2008. The high-profile automotive awards, undertaken by 58 journalists from 22 European countries – including CAR’s Georg Kacher – saw the Fiat scoop 385 votes, ahead of the second placed Mazda 2 (325 votes) and the Ford Mondeo (202 votes).
Each member of the jury has 25 points to distribute among the seven shortlisted cars, with a maximum of 10 points going to their first choice. The 500’s win was decisive, with 57 out of 58 journos including it in their short-list, and 33 putting it at the top of their personal rankings.

Também já o vi ao vivo e sentei-me nele, muito giro, têm um mala maior que o MINI [
], e parece mais pequeno, não gostei foi dos bancos muito moles e com pouco apoio lateral, não sei se era da versão em exposição, mas não gostei la muito, também era o 1.3 jtd, de certeza que com o Abarth a coisa vai melhorar.
Está lá também um Hummer, mas a cabeça de cartaz é mesmo o Fiat 500. aprapr

aprTive a oportunidade de andar neste carro, em Itália, mais precisamente em Torino, cidade que o viu nascer! É um carro muito bonito, e sinceramente já tem a sua cota de mercado. Nao conhecessemos nos os Italianos que se pudessem andavam só de marcas Italianas. Ainda não se veem tantos 500´s como mini's , mas na minha opinião penso que basta esperar mais um ou dois meses e o carro já se vai ver bastante, apesar de agora já se ver. Em portugal, penso que a moda tambem vai pegar, porque pelo preço, o carro e espectacular. Falta saber se às tias a marca Fiat não é vista com outros olhos.. [

] Basta ser falado nos media. Então não ves as tias a fazer peixeiradas na televisão em programas que de didacticos não teem nada? A FIAT patrocina uma festa em Cascais e no Algarve organizada por uma ou duas tias conhecidas e já esta![
]Realmente esse castagna está muito giro, a ideia de escurecer a cor nas cavas das rodas e no tecto é fenomenal, dá o efeito bicolor mas de uma forma mais suave! Excelente!
